May 2014 Rentals

We just returned home after our holiday in Corfu and after using Value Plus car rental. The service was great once again with everything going smoothly as we used two cars on this occasion due to the need to upgrade to a larger car as we were joined for our last week by my children and grand children. The help and advice from Sophia when initially booking was much appreciated and cost effective. We would also like to thank Yannis who met us at the airport when we changed vehicles for his help with our Son Michael, who had arranged to go to Corfu to surprise us and had made his own booking through Thomas Cook and ‘Budget Car Hire’, to get his own car, only to find on his arrival that it appeared that some kind of ‘scam/cheat’ was being carried out and that he was being required to provide his credit card details or security for 700 Euros as an excess before being allowed to take the car. Yannis spoke with the ‘Budget Hire Rep’ on our behalf, in an effort to resolve the problem, but without success and in the end Yannis provided my son with a vehicle from Value Plus. We now need to try to get a refund from Thomas Cook, but expect there to be difficulties. Sophia, Yannis and ‘The Team from Value Plus’ were great and I would highly recommend them. (PS) Sophia, Harrison liked the kittens that you showed us at the office in Sidari (the mainly white ones) and asks if one can be called ‘Lincoln’. Thanks again for everything.
